Pisa, Piazza Chiara Gambacorti, formerly Piazza della Pera.
Pisa, in Via San Martino coming from Italy after a short course there is a stone, an ancient Etruscan remains of a monument, which by its round shape resembles a pear. From this was born the name Square Pear although the official name is Piazza Gambacorti. It is in this place that we are. Here is the Bistrot Piazza della Pera.
Here is a Pisa secluded, quiet, almost subdued. But the mystery is like a dull rumbling beneath the pavement, an underground river that does reel under the bench where you stopped. Try listening.
